Carolyn Hunt Olson

Carolyn Hunt Olson (born 1939) started out raising thoroughbreds on her ranch in Ellensburg, Washington. She now raises cattle. She serves on the Fair Board of the Ellensburg Rodeo and is in charge of the rodeo’s frontier village, assembling it, staffing it, and overseeing its frontier lifestyle displays. In spring and summer, she breeds and tends the Hunt cattle her ranch is famous for. In the winter, she paints and sculpts. Interviewed Ellensburg, Washington, 1994
