Lynette and Dave Hulick
Lynette Hulick (born 1950) and husband, Dave, of Canyon City, Oregon, moved from ranch to ranch for several years before settling on the ranch they now manage. One of their biggest challenges is the winter cold: it can be extreme in their part of Oregon. In 1983, the temperature dropped to 56 degrees below zero. The breadth and diversity of their work is a challenge too: setting posts, building fence, tagging, feeding and vaccinating their animals.
